Who we are
The List Builder ("the Site") is operated by Orange Boat Media in connection with the book The Invisible List by Ravi Gupta. Questions: alexis@orangeboatmedia.com.
What we collect
Information you provide. Your first name, email address, and the content you enter while building your plan — your list items, goals, obstacles, and related answers.
Basic usage data. Anonymous analytics events such as pages visited and steps completed, collected to improve the Site.
How we use it
To generate and display your plan; to email you your plan and, if you opt in, occasional updates from Ravi Gupta and The Invisible Posse; to send your plan to the author, who personally reviews submissions and may reply to you with feedback; and to understand and improve how the Site works.
Your plan page is shareable by link
When you complete a plan, we create a page for it at a unique web address. Anyone who has that link can view your plan, including your first name and the content you entered. We do not list or index plan pages publicly, but you should share the link only with people you're comfortable seeing your plan. To have a plan page removed, email alexis@orangeboatmedia.com.
How we share it
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that make the Site run — hosting and database services (e.g., Supabase/Lovable) and, if applicable, our email delivery provider — and with the author as described above. We may disclose information if required by law.
Marketing emails
You can opt out anytime via the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting alexis@orangeboatmedia.com. We'll still send transactional messages (like delivering your plan) when you request them.
Data retention
We keep your plan and email so your plan page keeps working and to provide the services above. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing alexis@orangeboatmedia.com, and we will delete it within 30 days.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, email alexis@orangeboatmedia.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Children
The Site is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact alexis@orangeboatmedia.com and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Changes
We may update this policy; we'll post the new version here with a revised effective date.
